Overseas Shipholding Group tapped Samuel Norton as the company’s next chief executive officer and president, succeeding Ian Blackley, the company said Tuesday.
Blackley will be retiring with Norton set to take over Dec. 29. Norton most recently worked as the president and CEO of the company’s U.S. Flag Strategic Business Unit, since July, and has been on the company’s board since August 2014.
The company continued its executive shake-up though, appointing Patrick O’Halloran as its newest vice president and chief operations officer and Damon Monte as its newest vice president and chief administrative officer. Shares for Overseas Shipholding Group were last up 2.7% at the market’s close Tuesday.
