Longmont police say the suspect wanted on allegations he strangled and threatened to kill his ex-wife was located and arrested today in California.
Police had announced in a news release early Sunday that they were looking for Brandon Bohler, 25, and labeled him a “homicidal party,” saying he had made statements on Saturday that he was not going to “let police take him alive.”
Sunday afternoon, Longmont police said Bohler was arrested at noon at a Walmart in Victorville, Calif. He was located “through investigative intelligence,” police said.
Police obtained a warrant for his arrest on a charge of second-degree assault.
